超感受性 (ultrasensitivity) といえばFerrell。

そしてのこの論文で、
-substrate competition
を提唱している。
サイクリン依存性キナーゼのターゲット部位が細胞内には沢山存在するがそのほとんどは、あまり基質蛋白質の活性に変化を起こさないもので、それは真に必要なリン酸化を超感受性にするために、基質同士の競合を起こさせる、デコイとして働いたいるという話。今回はその基質の1つとしてwee1を取り上げて生化学実験を延々と繰り返しているのだが・・・データがいまいちすっきりしない。本当に超感受性になっているといえるのだろうか？
